Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 29, 2026

Unicorn Book Stories is a creative app that lets children make their own picture books. We built it to be private by default, and this policy explains — in plain language — exactly what the app does with information.

The short version: Everything your child creates — drawings, text, photos, and audio recordings — stays on the device. We don't have accounts, we don't ask for names, we don't show ads, and we don't use third‑party trackers. We do collect a small amount of anonymous usage and crash data to keep the app working well.

What stays on your device

The books your child makes are saved locally on the iPad or iPhone. The following never leave the device and are never sent to us:

Deleting the app removes this content from the device.

Anonymous data we do collect

To understand how the app is used and to find and fix bugs, the app sends a small amount of anonymous, non‑personal information to our own server. This includes:

This data is stored in our own database and is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use it to build profiles or to advertise to anyone.

Device permissions the app may ask for

Children's privacy

This app is designed for children and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. There are no accounts, no sign‑in, no in‑app purchases, no ads, and no social features. The anonymous usage data described above contains no names or personal identifiers and is not used for advertising or tracking across apps or websites.

Data retention & your choices

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
